The American League of Bicyclists visiting Copenhagen
The American League of Bicyclists visited Copenhagen during the recent Velo City Global 2010 conference.
Check out their pictures from the visit here. And read the Bikeleague blog about the Leagues experiences in Copenhagen.
The League was founded as the League of American Wheelmen in 1880. Bicyclists, known then as “wheelmen”, were challenged by rutted roads of gravel and dirt and faced antagonism from horsemen, wagon drivers, and pedestrians.
With a current membership of 300,000 affiliated cyclists, including 25,000 individuals and 700 affiliated organizations, the League works to bring better bicycling to communities.
